Washing and Care Guide
🧼 How should I wash and care for my dog's harness?
All our harnesses are designed to withstand daily adventures at the park, but proper care will extend their lifespan.
To keep them in pristine condition as safely as possible, we recommend following these simple steps:
- Recommended washing: It is best to wash them by hand. Submerge the accessory in a basin with warm water and a little neutral soap/detergent (liquid or tablet). Gently rub the fabric using your hands or a very soft cloth to remove everyday dirt without damaging the fibers or colors.
- Tough stains (dried mud or grass): If there is a stubborn stain, we advise submerging the harness in warm water with neutral soap and leaving it to soak for 10 or 15 minutes to loosen the dirt. Then, gently press and rub the area with your hands under the tap. Avoid using chemical stain removers or bleach, as improper use could alter the intensity of the prints.
- Using the washing machine: If you prefer the convenience of the washing machine, be sure to place the harness inside a mesh laundry bag for delicate clothes (or a pillowcase) to protect the closures and hardware from banging against the drum. Select a short delicate cycle, with cold water (max. 30°C), neutral soap/detergent, and no spin cycle or a gentle spin cycle.
- Drying: Let it dry indoors or outdoors, but always in the shade. Never use a dryer, as extreme heat can deform the plastic components and wear down the safety stitching.
